the website is done! for now!!
huzzah! the first version of my personal site is now complete. i made this website instead of reading the book i have to read for summer homework. do i regret it? uhh
well anyway! im vowing to myself that i will NOT start or continue any other projects until ive finished said homework. my school year starts early so i need to HURRY. i love reading but my brain for some reason hates doing things when i Have to do them. why???
but i didnt make this first blog post to complain about my homework. umm what was i gonna say. o yea!! u can literally make ur own website!! it's super easy*!!! i mostly just followed sadgrl's guides and then took scripts from other places when exploring other websites, like here and here, among other sites (i forgor). to figure out the layout and how to make things look the way i wanted, i just referenced the source code other sites i thought were cool. and the stamps, blinkies, and buttons r taken from other peoples' stamps/etc hoards from all over neocities and spacehey, and a couple found on deviantart and tumblr i think. i linked back to the original creators of any ones that weren't from others' hoards. someday (after i finish that homework) i should make stamps/etc of my really specific interests, like silent films and roblox games and stuff.
probably (HOPEFULLY. I NEED TO DO MY HOMEWORK.) wont update this blog for a while. if u wanna see whats in my brain at any given moment then follow me on tumblr where i reblog beautiful fanart of random shit every day yeaahh!!! ok peace
*unless u want to do slightly harder things like container borders and dark mode (two things ive failed to implement). but we're all learning here.
